Maximum Zoom

Maximum Zoom is an app that allows you to zoom in further to take pictures than your default camera allows. By default, Android cameras limit the level of zoom magnification so that your images do not lose any quality, and because there is a point where the image quality becomes utterly dire.

Infinite digital zoom

Maximum Zoom bypasses that limit on the zoom magnification, allowing you to zoom in 50, 100, 150, 500, 1000 or 2000 times. The app does not magically increase the capabilities of your camera, but simply allows you to zoom in further by cropping the image your camera captures in real time. So, although you can zoom in more than with the camera app included with your device, the quality is reduced as you zoom in further and further.

Choose the camera you want to use

Maximum Zoom gives you the option to choose the camera you want to use for zooming. If your device has a telephoto lens, for example, the final image quality will be higher than if you were to use the main sensor, the wide-angle camera or the front camera. After zooming in and choosing the desired framing, just hit the capture button, and the photo will be taken. You will always be able to see a thumbnail of what the camera is focusing on so you don't lose track of whatever it is you want to capture when zooming in and out.
